John E. Wilfong, CEPA is Managing Director–Wealth Management and Private Wealth Advisor at UBS, where he has led the Wilfong Gage Group since 2007. With more than three decades of financial services experience, John specializes in guiding clients through comprehensive wealth strategies rooted in diversification, risk management, and purposeful planning. His leadership and diligence have earned him recognition on Forbes/Shook Best-in-State Wealth Advisors of Tennessee in both 2022 and 2023.

A proud University of Memphis graduate, John earned a B.A. in Finance and later an M.B.A., balancing his academic pursuits with the unique experience of competing in the NCAA Final Four as a member of the Memphis Tigers basketball team. The lessons he learned about discipline, perseverance, and teamwork continue to inform his approach to serving clients and leading teams today.

Beyond his professional achievements, John is deeply committed to philanthropy and community impact. He serves as Board Chairman of Champions for Literacy, Vice-President of the University of Memphis Foundation, and Founder of the National Christian Foundation Memphis. His leadership in these organizations reflects his belief that true wealth is measured not only in financial success but in the lives we uplift.

John is also the author of Wiseheart, a book that combines financial insight with timeless values, offering readers a roadmap to building both financial strength and meaningful legacy.

He and his wife, Catherine, have been married for over thirty years and are the proud parents of three sons: Jonathan (Annie), Bennett (Weldon), and Luke.
